While there are 95 of these trials in total, they can be divided into 9 types that all of them will fall under. So, we’ll go over these different types of puzzles and how you can complete them first, then we’ll quickly go through each region of the map and where all of the trials are located.
I'd recommend going through these very early on in your playthrough as all the time you save going back to vendor will help speed up progress in the long run.
The first type of trial will be the cube symbol blocks. There will be three of these pillars nearby once you start it and you can use revelio to quickly find them. That goes for all of these puzzle pieces we go over really.
Go up to each one and you’ll need to use Flipendo to make the top symbol match the bottom symbol on all sides. It’s usually not too hard to do, and once you get it the pillar will lock and you can repeat that for the others. Once the third pillar is matching the puzzle will be completed.
Type 2 will be the moth moonstone puzzle. This will have 3 moonstone pillars spread nearby around the trial as well as three groups of blue moths.
You’ll need to use lumos to draw the moths and bring them over to the moonstone pillar. Sometimes the moths can be pretty tough to find so you may have to look around a bit or break open areas where they are hidden. Using revelio can help with finding these if needed. Then once the third pillar is done the trial will be complete.
Type 3 will be the stone pillars puzzle. This one isn’t much of a puzzle, but basically, you’ll just need to use confringo to blast all of these stone pillars. These are generally super easy to find, but just use revelio if you have issues finding them.
Type 4 will be the flaming pot puzzle. There will be 3 pots that show up with various heights of poles. You’ll need to use confringo to light all 3 at the same time. They start sinking when they’re lit so you’ll want to start with the tallest first and quickly light the others. It may take some maneuvering to get it all done, but if you position yourself between them all you should be able to get it done.
Type 5 will be the large rolling ball puzzle. Once it starts, you’ll need to locate the hole where the ball goes, and the ball. Then use depulso to push the ball towards the path to get it into the hole and once it’s there it’ll finish the puzzle.
Type 6 will be the broken statues puzzle. There will be 3 statues that break as you start the puzzle. Then just go to each of them and use repairo to repair each of them to complete the trial.
Type 7 will be the stone ball targets puzzle. This is a lot like the stone pillar puzzle, but you’ll have 9 of these pop up generally in groups of 3 and just use your basic attack to shoot all of them.
Type 8 will be the piles of stone balls puzzle. This will be 3 of these platforms with holes where the balls will fit and a pile of 5 balls nearby. Using revelio will help greatly with these. Then just use wingardium leviosa to move the balls over to the platform and repeat that for all 3.
Type 9 will be the stone jumping puzzle. This is also super easy. You’ll have these large stone platforms spaced apart and you’ll just need to start on one end and jump across them all one by one until you’ve been across them all and it’ll finish that puzzle.
